Pipe making workshops
My first attempts at making pipes were challenging: decades-old carving knives from my father-in-law, a small piece of cherry wood and the coffee table in the living room – including herniated disc.
In the meantime I can call a small but fine workshop my own – and invite you to make your own pipe in a real pipe maker's workshop. Let's create a (your!) pipe together!

We sketch your personal design together, select the perfect briar for your pipe, I show you how to work on the machine, and then you lend a hand with the fine tuning of your very own pipe.
Possible content: Design, selection of the wood, drilling, shaping and turning work, decorative rings, grinding work, mouthpiece, staining, finish– on request also special techniques such as sandblasting, rustication, sunk-in brass rings or similar.
The workshop is one-day (5–7 hours on average) and for one person.
Depending on the effort/finish, the pipe cannot be completed on the day of the workshop – in such cases I will send it to you afterwards.
